About 2 hours after receiving the Flu Vaccine, I started to experience sudden hearing lost in my right ear. No prior symptoms before. I was not sick, did not have a fever. Felt healthy before and after the flu vaccine. I could not hear from my right ear and felt a bit numb. No pain, discharge, pressure. Called urgent care and saw a physician the next morning and was determined I had hearing lost. Was prescribed prednisone as well as other OTC medication. Also saw Audiologist for a hearing test. Results were given to an ENT specialist who determined that I have SSHL.
Doxycycline Monohydrate, Sildenafil, Emtricitabine-Tenofovir
Audiologist performed hearing test on Monday, 1/12/2026. Results showed significant lost of hearing on right side. ENT then contacted me on 1/12/2026 and concluded I have SSHL
