The MA injected the vaccine at around 8:00 am and I felt a painful stream of liquid entering the injection site in my left arm. I was not looking at her and was looking the other way so did not see where she was on my arm but she lifted my sleeve up very high, put a bandaid on me and sleeve down. I went to work and about two hours later began feeling a pain in my left shoulder joint as if it had been slightly dislocated. The pain kept increasing until around 1pm, and then I started having difficulty moving my left arm along with the pain. I went home and as I was undressing I saw how far up on my shoulder the bandaid was (right on the shoulder joint) so I took it off and saw the injection site was actually on the shoulder joint line. The pain increased until 7pm, it became severe so I got really scered and I sent a message to my doctor describing my symptoms and added a picture of my left shoulder with a circle around the injection site so she could see it. I then went to the emergency department. After waiting two hours I was informed it could be a 9 hour wait and as it was already late I went home and returned to the hospital the next morning. I went to the office that administered the vaccine and by this time (7:30 am), I had severe pain, limited mobility and weakness in my left arm.
