had a lump on my arm a few days; feel bad for two days; This non-serious case was reported by a consumer via interactive digital media and described the occurrence of feeling bad in a patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingles vaccine) for prophylaxis. The patient's past medical history included shingles (had shingles a few years ago), sickness and clostridioides difficile infection. In DEC-2025, the patient received the 1st dose of Shingles vaccine. On an unknown date, an unknown time after receiving Shingles vaccine, the patient experienced feeling bad (Verbatim: feel bad for two days) and swelling arm (Verbatim: had a lump on my arm a few days). The outcome of the feeling bad was resolved (duration 2 days) and the outcome of the swelling arm was not reported. It was unknown if the reporter considered the feeling bad and swelling arm to be related to Shingles vaccine. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 13-JAN-2026 This case was reported by a patient via interactive digital media. Patient had shingles a few years ago and was extremely sick. Patient had Clostridioides difficile on top of it- so it was awful frankly and patient could have died. Patient got first shingles shot a month ago- it made patient feel bad for two days and had a lump on arm a few days. But it was lot less severe than when patient had the actual shingles. Patient will get second dose in a couple month. The batch number was not provided, and we are unable to contact the reporter.
