Symptom narrative

Symptoms of redness and swelling at injection site on right leg occurred several hours following vaccination. Mom noticed the following morning significant redness and swelling extending inferiorly to patient's knee, and medially across anterior thigh. Area was warm to the touch. Patient was walking with a limp and complaining of pain to the thigh during the day, still participated in normal daily activity. No fevers per mother. The following morning (2 days after vaccination), swelling remained but had improved from day before. Area was no longer warm to the touch. Patient no longer limping, no longer complaining of pain.
