A 66-year-old female patient received BNT162b2 (BNT162B2), in 2021 as dose number unknown, booster (Batch/Lot number: unknown) for covid-19 immunisation. The patient's relevant medical history included: "Type 2 diabetic" (unspecified if ongoing); "heart arrhythmia" (unspecified if ongoing); "high blood pressure" (unspecified if ongoing). The patient's concomitant medications were not reported. Vaccination history included: Bnt162b2 (Primary Immunization completed), for COVID-19 immunization; Bnt162b2 (DOSE NUMBER UNKNOWN, BOOSTER), administration date: 2020, for COVID-19 immunization. The following information was reported: COVID-19 (medically significant), DRUG INEFFECTIVE (medically significant), DISEASE RECURRENCE (medically significant), outcome "unknown" and all described as "The second time I ended up having to get a transfusion because I had it so bad. Clinical course: the patient stated "I am trying to get a reduced price on the Paxlovid. Nobody asked to get COVID five days into the new year. But I'm Type 2 diabetic. I have heart arrhythmia, and I have high blood pressure. I was diagnosed with COVID today along with strep throat, and my family doctor prescribed Paxlovid, but when they tried to get a coupon or discount card, they're telling me I'm not eligible and I'm sick... I mean, I got your vaccine whatever, and your booster back in 2020 and I still ended up with COVID. Same thing the following year. Got the vaccine and I still ended up with COVID. The second time I ended up having to get a transfusion because I had it so bad. The vaccine didn't help me at all. I don't want to end up in the hospital in the ER again, but I can't afford to pay for a prescription. I mean, my husband and I are both retired, we're on social security. I just retired back in Mar2025 and I'm feeling the effects of everything right now. I hope to start the medication today because today is like day five".
