About 5 minutes after administering an MMR vaccination the patient stated he was getting hot, appeared pale, sliding down in chair. Hollered out to clinic reg to call for assistance. Patient states he was unable to see and hear me, but both sight and hearing are returning. At 1352 BP 104/80, pulse 60. Patient states needs to vomit, garbage placed in front of him and he did vomit. Response team arrived, patient pale, hot, diaphoretic, verbalizing clearly. BP 116/78 at 1355, given cold water, cool washcloths and ice packs to neck and arms. Blood sugar 102 at 1400. Given juice, ate crackers at 1407, states he hadn't eaten since this morning. Patient states continuing to feel better. Had patient stand in room with 2 staff. States he is "feeling more normal again". Walking steady in room. Had patient sit and finish juice and crackers. Patient states he feels fine. Had him walk in hallway at 1411. Able to walk steady and states symptoms all resolved. Left clinic at 1415.
