Symptom narrative

During Varicella administration, dimpling of the skin was seen and at 5-10 post injection, redness/raised area around quarter sized appeared. Concerned vaccine was administered intradermally instead of subcutaneous. Ice was applied, minor decreased noted before patient left clinic. ER precautions reviewed. No pain, no itching, no s/s of allergic reaction.
