Symptom narrative

Patient came in for the new pneumonia vaccine, Capvaxive. She called a couple days after receiving it and reported various side effects and a possible skin rash. She woke up the day after the vaccine feeling very tired and achy. As the day went on she developed a fever that got up to 103 degrees. Her arm is warm near the injection site, she has a red rash with spots on her neck and jaw areas on her left side. Her newest symptom is sore throat with green mucus. She went to urgent care when her fever reached 103 and is at home resting, taking Aleve.
