Symptom narrative

Mother reports patient received MMRV on her left arm on 1/13/26 at her PCPs office. Several hours after vaccination, mother noticed erythema around the injection site and returned to PCP on 1/15/26 with redness and swelling of left upper arm and subsequently admitted to hospital for cellulitis. Received 2 doses of cefazolin and was discharged home on cephalexin x 5 days.
