Suspected vaccination failure; Broke out with shingles; received 3 doses of shingles vaccine; This serious case was reported by a consumer via interactive digital media and described the occurrence of vaccination failure in a male patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingles vaccine) for prophylaxis. Co-suspect products included Herpes zoster (Shingles vaccine) for prophylaxis and Herpes zoster (Shingles vaccine) for prophylaxis. The patient's past medical history included shingles (had shingles 45 years ago). On an unknown date, the patient received the 3rd dose of Shingles vaccine, the 2nd dose of Shingles vaccine and the 1st dose of Shingles vaccine. On an unknown date, more than 2 years after receiving Shingles vaccine and Shingles vaccine and an unknown time after receiving Shingles vaccine, the patient experienced vaccination failure (Verbatim: Suspected vaccination failure) (serious criteria GSK medically significant), shingles (Verbatim: Broke out with shingles) and extra dose administered (Verbatim: received 3 doses of shingles vaccine). The outcome of the vaccination failure and shingles were not reported and the outcome of the extra dose administered was not applicable. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 17-JAN-2026 This case was reported via interactive digital media. The reporter's husband just broke out with shingles. He dad them 45 years ago. He had first shingles vaccine and then updated with the two shots shingles vaccine three years ago and still got shingles. Doctor said 2 percent of the people do get the shingles after the vaccine. It was not as bad as it would be if he didn't have the vaccine, so he still recommended it. The batch number was not provided, and we are unable to contact the reporter.
