patient got shingles after receiving the first dose of Shingrix; This non-serious case was reported by a pharmacist via call center representative and described the occurrence of shingles in a 68-year-old male patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingrix) (batch number 5L9A4, expiry date 17-JUN-2027) for prophylaxis. On 07-JAN-2026, the patient received the 1st dose of Shingrix. On 15-JAN-2026, 8 days after receiving Shingrix, the patient experienced shingles (Verbatim: patient got shingles after receiving the first dose of Shingrix). The outcome of the shingles was not reported. It was unknown if the reporter considered the shingles to be related to Shingrix. This patient wanted to know if it could have been brought out or was it just a delay, did the Shingrix shot cover to break out on him. This patient had no shingles in the past. The reporter was ask was there any delay between taking the vaccine effect and the actual breakout. The batch number was not provided upon follow up with the reporter.
