I got my flu shot and initially experienced the symptoms typical of a flu shot; where your arm feels tender and sore. However, my shoulder has continued to hurt since the day I got my shot and has not stopped. I don't play any sort of contact sport or do anything that might otherwise cause this pain. The pain is constantly there, and it hurts to move my arm in many directions. It also tires out very easily- it's difficult to even lift the blanket to make my bed, it hurts to reach to grab something off a higher shelf, and it hurts to lay on it or have it bumped into. My shoulder did not hurt before my flu shot, and only started to hurt after I received it.

So far I have had a set of x-rays done as requested by a nurse practitioner I saw in December. My doctor requested an MRI of my shoulder but it was denied by insurance, as they want me to undergo physical therapy first.
