Patient's mother called office to let us know that her child had been hospitalized after receiving the vaccines. She reports severe body aches and an inability to walk. Per NP who took call to our office, she also documented a call diagnosis of "fever." Patient and parent sought care at another clinic and then went to an emergency room where a "neurologist and pain specialist" evaluated the patient. Per Mom's report to NP, "vaccines may have triggered an autoimmune response due to the patient's weakened immune system" and that " The patient is receiving treatment to stabilize her nervous and immune systems and is on a course of medication expected to show results in 3-5 days" with plans for physical therapy after treatment.
Childhood emotional disorder followed by NP - was referred to Family Counseling, Snoring concerning for OSA, referral to ENT placed on 1/19/2026.
History of microscopic hematuria evaluated by nephrology and subsequently lost to followup for 2 years, re-referral placed on 1/19/2026
Mom reports patient use Vitamin D supplementation and Magnesium supplementation in the past
No known allergies on patient chart
Per NP's note: "The patient underwent an MRI and additional tests [at the hospital], which showed no early signs of Guillain-Barré syndrome. Blood tests confirmed vitamin D and iron deficiencies."
