I received a COVID-19 vaccine in 2021. Within approximately 24 hours of vaccination, I awoke with a severe migraine/headache and intense sweating (night sweats/diaphoresis). Beginning the day after vaccination, I developed new-onset, persistent, widespread body pain that has continued chronically since onset. Over the ensuing weeks to months, additional symptoms developed and persisted, including orthostatic intolerance consistent with POTS (e.g., tachycardia/lightheadedness on standing), severe fatigue, brain fog/cognitive difficulty, and significant sleep disturbance/insomnia. Symptoms have been ongoing since onset and have significantly impacted my day-to-day functioning. I have not returned to my pre-vaccination baseline. Timeline (fill in dates if you have them): ? Following weeks/months: Development of orthostatic intolerance/POTS-like symptoms (tachycardia/lightheadedness on standing) and ongoing widespread pain with fibromyalgia . ? Current status (as of 01/28/2026): Symptoms remain ongoing: chronic widespread pain, POTS-like symptoms, sleep disturbance, fatigue, and brain fog. Impact/Severity Symptoms are persistent and have caused substantial functional impairment (activities of daily living, work capacity, exercise tolerance, and sleep). Symptoms have been ongoing since 2021 without full resolution.
