The evening after the vaccine (1/12/2021) I noticed mild symptoms of weakness on left side. It did not interfere with the activities of daily living so I thought it would resolve without intervention. On 1/14/2021 after my weakness became more serve I called a friend that is a neuro surgeon and he suggested I go to the ER. I didn't feel safe going to the ER because of the COVID out break. Therefore, I called my neurologist Dr and he asked to see me immediately. I came to his office for an evaluation, he suggested an MRI of the brain to rule out a stroke. The office arranged an out patient MRI and went straight to the facility for the MRI. Dr called me with the results, and they were negative for stroke. We made an appointment for Monday and her instructed me to go to the ER if my symptoms got worse. Monday 1/18/2021 I returned to his office for a follow up and he suggested I go to the ER because my symptoms were worse. I went directly to the ER for evaluation. In the ER I was diagnosed with a stroke and damage to my brain.
