Pediatric engerix B vaccine inadvertently given to an adult; This non-serious case was reported by a pharmacist via sales rep and described the occurrence of inappropriate age at vaccine administration in a patient who received HBV (Engerix B pediatric) for prophylaxis. On an unknown date, the patient received Engerix B pediatric. On an unknown date, an unknown time after receiving Engerix B pediatric, the patient experienced inappropriate age at vaccine administration (Verbatim: Pediatric engerix B vaccine inadvertently given to an adult). The outcome of the inappropriate age at vaccine administration was not applicable.
