Mother called the clinic on 1/29/2026 stating that around 8:00 pm on 1/28/2026 pt ran a fever of 101.8 with a seizure that lasted 3 minutes. She gave pt Tylenol and a cool shower. No other seizures occurred, fever subsided the next morning. Pt was doing better at the time of the call. I reported this to the provider, FNP who advised me to let mother know this was most likely a simple febrile seizure due to the MMRV vaccine, no other treatment needed at this time, and it is not contraindicated for pt to receive further vaccines in the future. Mother stated understanding and that pt was acting "more like herself" at the time of the call.
