lost the hearing in my right ear for 24 hours, not sure if it would come back or not; This serious case was reported by a consumer via interactive digital media and described the occurrence of hearing loss unilateral in a patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingles vaccine) for prophylaxis. On an unknown date, the patient received the 1st dose of Shingles vaccine. On an unknown date, an unknown time after receiving Shingles vaccine, the patient experienced hearing loss unilateral (Verbatim: lost the hearing in my right ear for 24 hours, not sure if it would come back or not) (serious criteria GSK medically significant). The outcome of the hearing loss unilateral was resolved (duration 24 hrs). It was unknown if the reporter considered the hearing loss unilateral to be related to Shingles vaccine. The company considered the hearing loss unilateral to be unrelated to Shingles vaccine.
