Elevated BP; I was feeling very weird; This non-serious case was reported by a consumer and described the occurrence of increased blood pressure in a 71-year-old female patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingrix) for prophylaxis. Previously administered products included Flu vaccine with an associated reaction of no adverse event and COVID vaccine with an associated reaction of no adverse event. Concurrent medical conditions included hypertension and mast cell activation syndrome. Concomitant products included nebivolol hydrochloride (Bystolic), loratadine (Claritin) and famotidine. On 29-SEP-2025, the patient received the 1st dose of Shingrix. On 29-SEP-2025, immediately after receiving Shingrix, the patient experienced increased blood pressure (Verbatim: Elevated BP) and feeling abnormal (Verbatim: I was feeling very weird). The outcome of the increased blood pressure was resolved and the outcome of the feeling abnormal was not reported. It was unknown if the reporter considered the increased blood pressure and feeling abnormal to be related to Shingrix. It was unknown if the company considered the increased blood pressure and feeling abnormal to be related to Shingrix. The reporter mentioned that the patient was given with lots of water to drink and cold towels and stayed in the office for over an hour until my BP was 185, then they let the patient go home.
