Aching joints/Aching in knees; Muscle ache; Chills; body aches; difficult time getting up and sitting down due to the ache in her knees; This non-serious case was reported by a consumer via call center representative and described the occurrence of joint pain in a 70-year-old female patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingrix) for prophylaxis. Concurrent medical conditions included myalgic encephalomyelitis (Myalgic encephalomyelitis) and chronic fatigue. Concomitant products included evolocumab (Repatha), levothyroxine, liothyronine (Np Thyroid), magnesium hydroxide (Magnesium) and berberine hydrochloride (Berberine). On 12-JAN-2026, the patient received the 2nd dose of Shingrix (left arm) .5 ml. On 13-JAN-2026, 1 days after receiving Shingrix, the patient experienced joint pain (Verbatim: Aching joints/Aching in knees), muscle pain (Verbatim: Muscle ache), chills (Verbatim: Chills) and general body pain (Verbatim: body aches). In JAN-2026, the patient experienced mobility decreased (Verbatim: difficult time getting up and sitting down due to the ache in her knees). On 14-JAN-2026, the outcome of the chills was resolved (duration 1 day). The outcome of the joint pain, muscle pain, general body pain and mobility decreased were not resolved. Twenty-four hours after receiving the vaccine in her left arm the patient had chills body aches muscle aches. The chills resolved in twenty-four hours. All other symptoms persist. The reporter stated the worse aching in her knees. The reporter was having a difficult time getting up and sitting down due to the ache in her knees.
