Suspected vaccination failure; I had the shots but still got and awful case of the Shingles; This serious case was reported by a consumer via interactive digital media and described the occurrence of vaccination failure in a patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingles vaccine) for prophylaxis. The patient received Shingles vaccine. The patient experienced vaccination failure (Verbatim: Suspected vaccination failure) (serious criteria GSK medically significant) and shingles (Verbatim: I had the shots but still got and awful case of the Shingles). The outcome of the vaccination failure was not reported and the outcome of the shingles was resolving. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 20-JAN-2026 This case was reported by a patient via interactive digital media. The patient had five weekly acupuncture appointments and felt way better. The rash was almost gone after three and a half months, and the pain was much more manageable with no more huge pain spikes. This case was considered as suspected vaccination failure as details regarding completion of primary vaccination schedule, time to onset for shingles and laboratory confirmation regarding shingles were unknown at the time of reporting.
