Incomplete course of vaccination

Symptom narrative

I missed my 2nd Shingrix vaccination; This non-serious case was reported by a consumer via call center representative and described the occurrence of incomplete course of vaccination in a patient who did not receive Herpes zoster (Shingrix) for prophylaxis. Previously administered products included Shingrix (First dose was received on 05-JAN-2024). The patient did not receive the 2nd dose of Shingrix. The patient had incomplete course of vaccination (Verbatim: I missed my 2nd Shingrix vaccination). The outcome of the incomplete course of vaccination was not applicable. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 20-JAN-2026 The reporter stated that the patient had received the first dose of Shingrix, 0.5 mL, on 05-JAN-2024 via intramuscular route. Patient wanted to know if it is still effective to get the second shot 1.5 years from the first vaccination.
