I took the shingles shot and within a week broke out in shingles took me nearly 8 weeks to get rid of them. Really really aweful experience! Just saying; This non-serious case was reported by a consumer via interactive digital media and described the occurrence of shingles in a patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingles vaccine) for prophylaxis. On an unknown date, the patient received Shingles vaccine. On an unknown date, less than a week after receiving Shingles vaccine, the patient experienced shingles (Verbatim: I took the shingles shot and within a week broke out in shingles took me nearly 8 weeks to get rid of them.
