Suspected Vaccination failure; I don't know how it could have been any worse/ I still have a nerve pain and its being 6 months; This serious case was reported by a consumer via interactive digital media and described the occurrence of vaccination failure in a patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingles vaccine) for prophylaxis. On an unknown date, the patient received Shingles vaccine. On an unknown date, an unknown time after receiving Shingles vaccine, the patient experienced vaccination failure (Verbatim: Suspected Vaccination failure) (serious criteria GSK medically significant) and shingles (Verbatim: I don't know how it could have been any worse/ I still have a nerve pain and its being 6 months). The outcome of the vaccination failure was not reported and the outcome of the shingles was not resolved. The patient stated that they had always been told that if they got it, it would not be as bad. The patient stated that they did not know how it could have been any worse. The patient also reported ongoing nerve pain for six months. The batch number was not provided, and we are unable to contact the reporter.
