low-grade fever; malaise; aches; This non-serious case was reported by a consumer via interactive digital media and described the occurrence of low grade fever in a patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingrix) for prophylaxis. The patient's past medical history included shingles (I got shingles in my late thirties around the torso). Previously administered products included Tamiflu. On an unknown date, the patient received the 1st dose of Shingrix. On an unknown date, 1 day after receiving Shingrix, the patient experienced low grade fever (Verbatim: low-grade fever), malaise (Verbatim: malaise) and pain (Verbatim: aches). The outcome of the low grade fever, malaise and pain were resolved (duration 24 hrs). It was unknown if the reporter considered the low grade fever, malaise and pain to be related to Shingrix. The patient got shingles in his/her late thirties around the torso and knew what it was as soon as the symptoms started. The patient went to the doctor the next day and was started on Tamiflu, which was helpful, and the pain remained minimal. A couple of months ago, the patient received his/her first Shingrix shot, and the next day experienced low-grade fever, malaise, and aches, which resolved within 24 hours The batch number was not provided, and we are unable to contact the reporter.
