accidentally administered Infanrix to a 7 years old patient; This non-serious case was reported by a nurse via call center representative and described the occurrence of inappropriate age at vaccine administration in a 7-year-old male patient who received DTPa (Infanrix) (batch number 5ST5M, expiry date 24-MAR-2026) for prophylaxis. Previously administered products included Pediarix (received first dose at the age of 6 years). On 23-JAN-2026, the patient received the 2nd dose of Infanrix. On 23-JAN-2026, an unknown time after receiving Infanrix, the patient experienced inappropriate age at vaccine administration (Verbatim: accidentally administered Infanrix to a 7 years old patient). The outcome of the inappropriate age at vaccine administration was not applicable. This report is made by GSK without prejudice and does not imply any admission or liability for the incident or its consequences. Additional Information: GSK receipt date 23-JAN-2026 Nurse called to report that they accidentally administered Infanrix to a 7 years old patient, also stated that this was second dose of DTap for the patient because Pediarix was given last time. The reporter requested clarification on whether the Infanrix dose was valid and what the appropriate dosing schedule should have been followed. The batch number was not provided and a request for this information has been made.
