Fell for no apparent reason Sunday morning 09/14/2025 and about 5 times during the following 5-6 weeks. Had flu vaccine 09/13/2025, and was symptomatic for Covid 9/15 with positive antigen test. Paxlovid started 9/16.2025. A recent paper attributed falling to Covid infection, and suggested that it happened frequently enough that it should be included on the Covid symptom list. I am reporting this because I took Paxlovid to treat the Covid, and the falling continued for about 5 weeks after my 5-day treatment period. I am 83 Years old. Am including flu vaccine data since it was given the day before the first major unexplained fall, and I was symptomatic for Covid two days after the flu vaccine, and started Pax the next day. I really cannot say how these events are related, but the study of Covid and falling is intriguing to me. So I am telling you as much as I can. Not sure whether the falling was due to the virus or the paxlovid or was unrelated.
Maybe there was interaction between flu vaccine, and the early stage of Covid, and Pax or maybe falling was unrelated to any of it. No smoking, pregnancy or alcohol.
