10-15 minutes after receiving Varicella Vaccine, patient started complaining of sneezing, swelling and tingling of lips, tingling of extremities, raspy throat, voice changes, and abdominal pain. Pt denied shortness of breath, chest tightness or swelling of throat at this time. Rapid Response called by staff, Vitals obtained B/P 138/68, Pulse 87, SpO2 91% Rapid Response Team arrived within 3 minutes and patient was transported to Emergency Department via wheelchair.

02/03/2006- Glomerular Filtration Rate, BMP, CBC with Diff, Glucose, IV, Continuous Oximetry, complete ROS performed, Epi Pen administered, Dextrose 50% IV, Benadryl 50 mg IV Push, F Famotidine 10mg/2mL IV Push administered in ER. Patient discharged with Epi Pen and Benadryl 25mg Capsules with instructions provided by ER Provider. Patient was placed on bed rest for 24 hours. Patient was advised to follow up with Primary Care Provider in one day or return to ER if symptoms worsened. 02/04/2026 - Patient followed up with Provider as directed by ER. Per note, patient stated he "has some tingling sensation in his lips but no other symptoms". No shortness of breath, chest pain, abdominal pain noted. B/P 122/64, Pulse 80, SpO2 100%
