Symptom narrative

Patient received an HPV vaccine in left deltoid, and flu vaccine in his right deltoid. His left forearm immediately became erythematous/blotchy (not raised or urticarial). Patient then reported feeling tired and weak. Systolic BP decreased from 100 to 90. Given benadryl 50 mg and Decadron 16 mg and transferred to ED via Ambulance.

Medical history

constipation, history of syncopal spells and transient tic disorder, osgood-schlatter disease

Other medications

metformin 500 mg daily

Allergies

dog/cat dander, dust, pollen

Lab data

BP 100/58, decreased to 90/58 afterward.
