No side effects were reported; Inadvertently administering a second dose of CAPVAXIVE to a patient; This Spontaneous report was received from Pharmacist and referred to a patient of unknown age and gender. The patient's concomitant medication included Varicella zoster vaccine rgE (CHO) (SHINGRIX). No information was provided regarding the patient's medical history, concurrent conditions and drug reactions or allergies. On 29-Dec-2025, the patient was vaccinated with the first dose of Pneumococcal 21-valent Conjugate Vaccine Solution for injection (CAPVAXIVE) at a dose of 0.5 ml for prophylaxis (route of administration, anatomical location, lot number and expiration date were not reported) On 13-Jan-2026, the patient was inadvertently administered a second dose of Pneumococcal 21-valent Conjugate Vaccine Solution for injection (CAPVAXIVE) (Extra dose administered) lot number Z012682 and expiration date 24-May-2027) for prophylaxis (dose, route of administration and anatomical location were not reported). The patient remained at the facility for 45 minutes after second dose and no side effects were reported (No adverse event).
