The patient's past medical history included shingles (had shingles on ear and scalp in 2020). On 29-JAN-2026, the patient received the 1st dose of Shingles vaccine. In JAN-2026, less than a week after receiving Shingles vaccine, the patient experienced joint pain (Verbatim: Joint pain). On 01-FEB-2026, the patient experienced pain (Verbatim: sharp pains). On an unknown date, the patient experienced injection site erythema (Verbatim: large red patch at injection site), injection site swelling (Verbatim: swollen patch at the injection site), fever (Verbatim: Low grade fever) and impaired work ability (Verbatim: Had to call out of work). The outcome of the injection site erythema and injection site swelling were resolving and the outcome of the fever, impaired work ability and pain were not reported and the outcome of the joint pain was resolved (duration 36 hrs). Patient had to call out of work, low grade fever and joint pain that lasted for about 36 hours or so. Patient still had quite a large red, swollen patch at the injection site. Feeling better overall. Patient had shingles on ear and scalp in 2020. Patient believed the stress of worrying about the Covid outbreak weakened immune system. Earlier today patient had sharp pains where shingles outbreak was on scalp and asked if any correlation. The batch number was not provided and unable to contact the reporter.
