Patient checked out from appointment after receiving vaccines. Patient/family arrived to front desk around 1220 reporting concerns for allergic reaction. Patient with bilateral red sclera, mild periorbital swelling, audible wheezing, unable to speak in full sentences, mild drooling noted. O2 saturations were initially 83%. EpiPen Jr 0.15 mg administered at 1227. Patient placed on 2 liters of oxygen via nasal cannula. O2 saturations improved to 96-97%. Patient with complaints of chest tightness, nausea, and belly pain. 4 puffs of albuterol MDI administered at 1230. Decadron 11.72 mg administered via intramuscular route at 1232. EMS transported patient to emergency department.
