Shingles; This non-serious case was reported by a consumer and described the occurrence of shingles in a 68-year-old male patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingles vaccine) for prophylaxis. Concurrent medical conditions included hypertension (Patient had been taking hypertension meds from 01-JAN-2024). On 04-DEC-2025, the patient received the 1st dose of Shingles vaccine. On 08-DEC-2025, 4 days after receiving Shingles vaccine, the patient experienced shingles (Verbatim: Shingles). The outcome of the shingles was not resolved. It was unknown if the reporter considered the shingles to be related to Shingles vaccine. It was unknown if the company considered the shingles to be related to Shingles vaccine. The patient stated that he was considering not getting the second dose as he was still recovering from Shingles that he got from the first dose.
