Isolated bumps that like like chicken pox; Nerve pain down the leg into the foot; Severe tenderness of the skin on one side of my hip; Back pain; Numbness in the foot; This non-serious case was reported by a physician and described the occurrence of varicella-like rash in a patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingrix) for prophylaxis. In DEC-2025, the patient received the 1st dose of Shingrix. On an unknown date, an unknown time after receiving Shingrix, the patient experienced varicella-like rash (Verbatim: Isolated bumps that like like chicken pox), nerve pain (Verbatim: Nerve pain down the leg into the foot), skin tenderness (Verbatim: Severe tenderness of the skin on one side of my hip), back pain (Verbatim: Back pain) and numbness in feet (Verbatim: Numbness in the foot). The outcome of the varicella-like rash and nerve pain were resolved and the outcome of the skin tenderness, back pain and numbness in feet were not reported. It was unknown if the reporter considered the varicella-like rash, nerve pain, skin tenderness, back pain and numbness in feet to be related to Shingrix. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 27-JAN-2026 The patient received the vaccine about a month ago, since then have had some unusual things occur-isolated bumps that like chicken pox, severe tenderness of the skin on one side of the hip with back pain, nerve pain down the leg into the foot with numbness in the foot. According to the manufacturer of the vaccine it did not cause these symptoms, it's a coincidence, possibly but rather odd timing. The reporter was not sure would took the second injection in the series. The batch number was not provided and we and unable to contact the reporter.
