Symptom narrative

Patient reported arm was very sore, red and swollen after receiving vaccination. Patient returned to pharmacy on 1/22/26 to have the pharmacist look at her arm. Pharmacist noted that the vaccination appeared to be given low and in the fatty tissue not the muscle. Pharmacist recommended take acetaminophen and reach out to doctor to see if they could recommend additional therapy due to swelling and redness. When following up with patient 1 week later- patient stated that the pain had started to subside and she had not heard from doctor's office, but her arm did appear to be feeling better.
