A 76-year-old female patient received COVID-19 Vaccine - Manufacturer Unknown, on 13Oct2021 as dose number unknown, single (Batch/Lot number: unknown) for covid-19 immunisation. The patient's relevant medical history included: "stage IB MF (T2N0M0B0)", start date: 2013 (ongoing), notes: Disease Duration Pre-Vaccination: 8 years. The patient's concomitant medications were not reported. Past drug history included: Triamcinolone, start date: 2013, for stage IB MF (T2N0M0B0), notes: last visit Aug2019, stable on triamcinolone. The following information was reported: CUTANEOUS T-CELL LYMPHOMA STAGE I (death, medically significant), MALIGNANT NEOPLASM PROGRESSION (death, medically significant) all with onset 15Oct2021, outcome "fatal" and all described as "She reported that three days after she received the COVID-19 vaccinations in October 2021, she noticed many new pruritic plaques and large papules, which progressed to tumors over the following weeks". The patient underwent the following laboratory tests and procedures: Biopsy: confirmed CTCL. Therapeutic measures were taken as a result of cutaneous t-cell lymphoma stage i, malignant neoplasm progression. The patient date of death was 04Sep2023. She treated her advancing disease between the end of 2021 and Sep2023 with various therapies, including oral bexarotene with topical bexarotenes, phototherapy, total skin electron beam (TSEB) therapy, suberoylanilide hydroxamic acid, gemcitabine, brentuximab and bendamustine. New tumors 3 day post-vaccination, ulceration; subQ/nodal spread. Biopsy-confirmed CTCL with stable disease/partial remission before vaccination then deteriorated (new tumors, large-cell transformation, systemic spread, or death). Ultimately, she elected comfort-focused care and passed away on 04Sep2023.; Sender's Comments: Based on current available information, since it's the nature of cancer to progress, hence, the CUTANEOUS T-CELL LYMPHOMA STAGE I , MALIGNANT NEOPLASM PROGRESSION are unrelated to suspect product.
