Suspected vaccination failure; shingles/ I still get it about once a year, when I got alot going on, tired and anxiety, i get it less; This serious case was reported by a consumer via interactive digital media and described the occurrence of vaccination failure in a patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingles vaccine) for prophylaxis. The patient's past medical history included shingles (about 5 years ago). The patient received Shingles vaccine. The patient experienced vaccination failure (Verbatim: Suspected vaccination failure) (serious criteria GSK medically significant) and shingles (Verbatim: shingles/ I still get it about once a year, when I got alot going on, tired and anxiety, i get it less). About 5 years ago, the patient thought got bit by spider, but it was shingles, also got it couple of more times. The patient mentioned that the shingles were on same place on back thigh always and tired the week before, so the patient took medication fast which prevents spreading, also mentioned as the patient was in middle age. This case was considered as suspected vaccination failure as details regarding completion of primary vaccination schedule, time to onset for shingles and laboratory confirmation regarding shingles were unknown at the time of reporting.
