Patient presented to pharmacy on 2/12/26 stating her left arm has been hurting since she received the flu and pneumonia vaccines on Saturday 2/7. She believes the Capvaxive vaccine caused the reaction since this was her first time getting it and she has received flu vaccines in the past. She also received Shingrix in her right arm on the same day. Her left arm was examined and noted some swelling beneath where the vaccines were given. No concerning redness or rash. Patient confirmed no fever, just soreness "on the inside" with no relief from tylenol or ibuprofen or ice. Advised patient to continue with OTC pain medication and rest/ice and notify MD if fever occurs or condition worsens.
