He has low energy; feels like crap like nothing; his heart wasn't feeling right, it felt irregular it didn't feel normal/his heart wasn't feeling normal; heart failure; lung collapsing/his left lung was collapsed; He woke up and was not able to breathe at all; heartbeat was normal but higher, everything was just higher; This is a spontaneous report received from a Consumer or other non HCP from medical information team. A 20-year-old male patient received BNT162b2 (BNT162B2), in 2021 (reported as "May2021 or Jun2021") as dose 2, single (Batch/Lot number: unknown), in left arm for covid-19 immunisation. The patient's relevant medical history included: "had vaped a little bit" (not ongoing), notes: years ago. There were no concomitant medications. Vaccination history included: Bnt162b2 (DOSE 1, SINGLE, in the left arm), administration date: Apr2021, when the patient was 15 years old, for COVID-19 Immunization. The following information was reported: DYSPNOEA (non-serious) with onset 2026, outcome "unknown", described as "He woke up and was not able to breathe at all"; CARDIAC FAILURE (medically significant) with onset 2026, outcome "unknown", described as "heart failure"; HEART RATE INCREASED (non-serious) with onset 2026, outcome "unknown", described as "heartbeat was normal but higher, everything was just higher"; CARDIAC DISORDER (non-serious) with onset 2026, outcome "unknown", described as "his heart wasn't feeling right, it felt irregular it didn't feel normal/his heart wasn't feeling normal"; PNEUMOTHORAX (medically significant) with onset 2026, outcome "unknown", described as "lung collapsing/his left lung was collapsed"; ASTHENIA (non-serious), outcome "unknown", described as "He has low energy"; FEELING ABNORMAL (non-serious), outcome "unknown", described as "feels like crap like nothing". The events "heart failure", "lung collapsing/his left lung was collapsed", "he woke up and was not able to breathe at all" and "his heart wasn't feeling right, it felt irregular it didn't feel normal/his heart wasn't feeling normal" required emergency room visit. The patient underwent the following laboratory tests and procedures: Heart rate: (2026) higher; Ventilation/perfusion scan: (2026) his left lung was collapsed; X-ray: (2026) his left lung was collapsed; (2026) Unknown results. Therapeutic measures were not taken as a result of cardiac failure, pneumothorax, dyspnoea, cardiac disorder. Clinical course: The patient received the Pfizer covid vaccine adult series of 2 injections when he was 15 or 16 in 2021. Since then, he has experienced heart failure and his lung collapsing. He went to the ER about 2 weeks ago (2026). He woke up and was not able to breathe at all. He went into the ER and they did x-rays and scanned his lungs and told him his left lung was collapsed. When he did talk to the ER he even told them years ago he had vaped a little bit. He doesn't know if a chemical caused this to collapse years later. They didn't see evidence of anything in his lungs from tobacco or vaping products, his lungs look healthy. He was told this is spontaneous and happens sometimes. He had been feeling his heart wasn't feeling right, it felt irregular it didn't feel normal, more so like his heart was in pain. He doesn't know how to explain it. His left lung was collapsed. 2 days later, he went back to the ER for another Xray and he still told them his heart wasn't feeling normal, nothing was right about it. He was told his lung collapsed but no reason for why, nothing shows unhealthy lungs or anything to show why. When he went for his heart, they said heartbeat was normal but higher, everything was just higher. He made an appointment to get his heart, lungs, blood, to get everything checked out on 23Feb2026. His heart has not felt normal since. He was told collapsed lung shouldn't affect heart. He has low energy, feels like crap like nothing. He can feel his heart doesn't feel right. He went to the ER to check out and they are telling him it's a little high and fast is all they are giving him and no reason for this to be happening. He has been healthy his whole life. He clarified he really can't say it's heart failure, he is going by research he has done it's heart failure called Myocarditis. He is concerned it is related to the vaccine. He called the hospital and pharmacy where he got it and they were not able to provide the ingredients of the vaccine. He called to get a list of the ingredients because that is the only thing that he thinks could be causing issues. The patient did not receive any other vaccines on the same date as the Pfizer vaccine. The patient did not receive any other vaccines within 4 weeks prior to the first administration of the suspect vaccine. The patient is not allergic to any previous vaccination, medications, food or other products. There were no other diagnosed illnesses / medical history / chronic health conditions to report. The information on the batch/lot number for BNT162b2 will be requested and submitted if and when received.
