Lost a lot of weight; Primary biliary cholangitis; Liver cirrhosis; This is a spontaneous report received from a consumer. A 72-year-old female patient received BNT162b2, BNT162b2 omi ba.4-5 (BNT162B2, BNT162B2 OMI BA.4-5), on 11Oct2022 as dose number unknown (booster), single (Batch/Lot number: unknown) at the age of 71 years for covid-19 immunisation. The patient's relevant medical history and concomitant medications were not reported. Vaccination history included: Bnt162b2 (Primary immunization series complete), for COVID-19 immunization. The following information was reported: HEPATIC CIRRHOSIS (life threatening) with onset 2023, outcome "unknown", described as "Liver cirrhosis"; PRIMARY BILIARY CHOLANGITIS (life threatening) with onset 2023, outcome "unknown"; WEIGHT DECREASED (non-serious), outcome "unknown", described as "Lost a lot of weight". The events "primary biliary cholangitis" and "liver cirrhosis" required physician office visit. Therapeutic measures were taken as a result of primary biliary cholangitis, hepatic cirrhosis. The patient had adverse event with Comirnaty. The patient and her husband were part of clinical trials for the COVID vaccine in 2021 and 2022. She was part of the booster trial. But she got the COVID vaccine (COMIRNATY) in left side not under the trial, but she got it just outside of the trial. The patient was diagnosed with primary biliary cholangitis as the cause of her liver cirrhosis. She is completely incapacitated and the husband said she is dying. She has paracentesis every week. It is a medical procedure. The patient's husband has read on the internet scientific chatter about the vaccine causing immune mutation. She was looking for Pfizer to kind of follow up on this. The patient has lost a lot of weight. Currently, the patient is about 135 pounds, she used to be like 180. Per patient's husband, that was just the situation. The patient was kind of mad because everybody, when they hear cirrhosis, thinks it is from drinking. It was just until last month that her gastroenterologist identified the cause as PBC (Primary Biliary Cholangitis). But the onset of the cirrhosis was diagnosed back in 2023. As treatment, the patient was taking Ursodiol, but the patient's husband was not sure.
