Symptom narrative

Patient developed decreased activity about 24 hours after vaccination. She presented to the emergency department at 48 hours when she was somnolent and hypotonic. She was admitted to ICU initially, evaluated by neurology, infectious diseases. All of her lab tests and imaging studies were unremarkable and she returned to normal activity level within 48 hours after admission. She did not receive any specific treatments. There were no medication or other ingestions reported by family prior to admission. Given no other identified cause, we believe this was a vaccine reaction.
