Symptom narrative

Immediately patient did not want to walk. Several hours later after a nap he would not walk. When standing he stood flex at the hips and was very guarded with any movement. He cried for 3+ hrs at rest and worsened with any movement of his body. Over the counter pain meds did not affect. He spiked a fever 20 hrs after which lasted about 10 hrs. He didn?t begin walking until 24 hrs after vaccine, but limited. Walked with a limp and discomfort for 3 days following the vaccine

Pediatrician sent us to the ED. ED took xrsys of his femurs due to them saying it was more likely for him to have had an unwitnessed fall rather than a reaction from a vaccine. Parents seeking blood work to test for MTHFR gene.
