Nervous; her blood pressure was elevated:; Increased pulse; tension headache; she experienced swelling; heart palpitations; she experienced muscle pain/aches; Temporal headache; Soreness; Burning; pain at the injection site/she had a burning sensation; This non-serious case was reported by a consumer via call center representative and described the occurrence of injection site pain in a 58-year-old female patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingrix) for prophylaxis. Previously administered products included Shingrix with an associated reaction of no adverse event (1st dose taken on unknown date.) and Telmisartan. Concurrent medical conditions included blood pressure (stable). On 04-FEB-2026, the patient received the 2nd dose of Shingrix (left arm). On 04-FEB-2026, less than a day after receiving Shingrix, the patient experienced injection site pain (Verbatim: pain at the injection site/she had a burning sensation), pain (Verbatim: Soreness) and burning sensation (Verbatim: Burning). On 05-FEB-2026, the patient experienced muscle pain (Verbatim: she experienced muscle pain/aches) and temporal headache (Verbatim: Temporal headache). On 06-FEB-2026, the patient experienced swelling (Verbatim: she experienced swelling), palpitation (Verbatim: heart palpitations) and tension headache (Verbatim: tension headache). On 09-FEB-2026, the patient experienced nervous (Verbatim: Nervous), increased blood pressure (Verbatim: her blood pressure was elevated:) and pulse increased (Verbatim: Increased pulse). The patient was treated with telmisartan and magnesium. On 04-FEB-2026, the outcome of the burning sensation was resolved. On 08-FEB-2026, the outcome of the injection site pain and pain were resolved (duration 4 days) and the outcome of the swelling was resolved (duration 2 days). The outcome of the palpitation, nervous, temporal headache and tension headache were not resolved and the outcome of the muscle pain, increased blood pressure and pulse increased were unknown. The patient stated that the vaccine was cold and she had a burning sensation when the Shingrix was injected by her pharmacist. The patient reported that the pain at the injection site lasted through yesterday, 8-FEB-2026. The patient reported that she had Soreness and pain from 4-FEB-2026 through yesterday, 8-FEB-2026. The patient reported that she experienced swelling 6-FEB-2026 through 8-FEB-2026. The patient reported that she experienced muscle pain, muscle ache, and a temporal Headache the day after receiving the second dose of Shingrix, 5-FEB-2026. The patient reported that she experienced heart palpitations and a temporal headache on Friday morning, 6-FEB-2026. The patient reported that on Friday evening, 6-FEB-2026, she went to the Emergency Room for the heart palpitations and the temporal headache, was given IV fluids (unknown product information) and Magnesium (unknown product information), and released home. The patient reported the Magnesium was to counteract, slow down, and eliminate the heart palpitations. The patient reported that she still had the heart palpitations when she was released to go home, but they were quiet yesterday, 8-FEB-2026. The patient reports that the heart palpitations and the temporal headache both started back this morning, 9-FEB-2026, her blood pressure was elevated: 168/100, and her pulse was 80. The patient reported that her blood pressure was stable before receiving the second dose of Shingrix and she was on 1 - Telmisartan 40MG tablet; but the patient was now taking 1 and 1/2 - Telmisartan 40MG tablet to get her increased blood pressure down after the second dose of Shingrix. The patient reported that she took her 1 - 40MG Telmisartan tablet a couple of hours before receiving the second dose of Shingrix. The patient was nervous. The patient reported that the heart palpitations give her an immediate tension headache right after the palpitations. The patient reported that she was ok after the first dose of Shingrix. The patient had no paperwork to provide the Lot/Expiry/Route of administration. The patient had reported all that was provided about these adverse events. The batch number was not provided and a request for this information has been made.
