A 74-year-old female patient received BNT162b2 omicron (lp.8.1) (COMIRNATY (2025-2026 FORMULA)), on 14Oct2025 as dose 1, single (Batch/Lot number: unknown) at the age of 74 years intramuscular, in left arm for covid-19 immunisation. The patient's relevant medical history included: "mononucleosis" (unspecified if ongoing); "Epstein Barr" (unspecified if ongoing); "High Blood Pressure" (unspecified if ongoing); "half deaf and old" (ongoing). Concomitant medication(s) included: LISINOPRIL taken for blood pressure increased. The following information was reported: VACCINATION SITE MOVEMENT IMPAIRMENT (non-serious) with onset 2025, outcome "recovering", described as "could not really lift anything and could not write out"; INCREASED NEED FOR SLEEP (non-serious) with onset 2025, outcome "unknown", described as "in bed for two days sleeping"; VACCINATION SITE PAIN (non-serious) with onset 2025, outcome "recovering", described as "injection site hurt, she could not really lift anything"; ARTHRALGIA (non-serious) with onset 2025, outcome "recovering", described as "shoulder all the way to the wrist hurt". Relevant laboratory tests and procedures are available in the appropriate section. Therapeutic measures were not taken as a result of increased need for sleep. Therapeutic measures were taken as a result of vaccination site pain, vaccination site movement impairment, arthralgia. Clinical course: the patient got a Pfizer COVID-19 Shot that was specifically designed for older people, the patient forget, it has that RSV, and she had a bad reaction, not only she is bed for two days sleeping, the injection site hurt, she could not really lift anything and could not write out her holiday card because her hand did not work right, her shoulder all the way to the wrist hurt but specifically the injection site. She spoke with the pharmacist at the (redacted) who administered it and he was aware and what the patient is worried about now was the pain was from her shoulder down to wrist and could not really use her fingers for a couple months. She just had an MRI of her arm. The patient took Motrin for the events. The patient had been reading articles, and it says it can trigger other diseases such as mononucleosis which she had as a teenager and also Epstein Barr (history) and she would like someone to respond to her. She is half deaf and old. The information on the batch/lot number for BNT162b2 omicron (lp.8.1) will be requested and submitted if and when received.
