Symptom narrative

Shingles; This non-serious case was reported by a consumer via call center representative and described the occurrence of shingles in a 68-year-old male patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingrix) for prophylaxis. On 04-DEC-2025, the patient received the 1st dose of Shingrix (unknown arm). On 08-DEC-2025, 4 days after receiving Shingrix, the patient experienced shingles (Verbatim: Shingles). The outcome of the shingles was resolving. It was unknown if the reporter considered the shingles to be related to Shingrix. It was unknown if the company considered the shingles to be related to Shingrix. Additional Information: GSK receipt date: 13-FEB-2026 The patient received Shingrix vaccine and he got his first case of shingles. The shingles rash had cleared but he could still feel the pain. The pharmacy stated that it was time to get the second vaccine. The reporter informed patient of the 2 to 6 month window to get the second vaccine. The batch number was not provided and a request for this information has been made.
