She had a swelling on the wrist; This is a spontaneous report received from a Pharmacist. A 75-year-old female patient received BNT162b2 omicron (lp.8.1) (COMIRNATY (2025-2026 FORMULA)), on 12Dec2025 as dose 1, 0.3 ml single (Lot number: NA4457, Expiration Date: 23Jul2026) intramuscular, in left arm for covid-19 immunisation. The patient's relevant medical history and concomitant medications were not reported. Vaccination history included: fluad (DOSE NUMBER UNKNOWN, 0.5 ml SINGLE, Lot: 407261; Expiry date: 20May2026; Intramuscular.), administration date: 02Dec2025, when the patient was 75-year-old, for immunization; Covid-19 vaccine (DOSE NUMBER UNKNWON, Manufacturer unknown), administration date: 2024, for covid-19 immunization; Flu shot (DOSE NUMBER UNKNWON, Manufacturer unknown), administration date: Jan2024, when the patient was 73 years old, for covid-19 immunization. The following information was reported: JOINT SWELLING (non-serious), outcome "unknown", described as "She had a swelling on the wrist". Additional information: Concern: Reporter stated, a customer had a Pfizer COVID shot and She had it back in the December 12th (12 December 2025) Comirnaty 2025-2026. She came back, she had a swelling on the wrist and she said, it was after she got the shot. Reporter stated, December 12th, that is when she got it, that is when she got the COVID shot. About causality reporter could not tell because she's got in the 19 before in the past and this one she got it and she came back. She show the arm, we saw a little swelling on the wrist. When probed if patient had previous vaccination with Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine: Reporter stated, Yes, she got in the last ten days, she got a flu shot on the other hand. She also got the flu shot here, a few weeks ago. She had been getting different vaccine here. When probed if patient receive any other vaccines within four weeks prior to the Comirnaty: Reporter stated, At my pharmacy no, the last time she got Flu shot was. She got on 2024, Flu shot in January, no issue. She was doing COVID in 2024 too, so COVID shot. When probed if patient got any other vaccine on the same date with the Comirnaty: Reporter stated, "Only that one,only the COVID that is Pfizer 12Dec2025). When probed for Flu shot details: Reporter stated, That was done like a 02Dec2025, where the COVID shot was done on the 12Dec2025. reporter think about ten days after. Reporter done flu shot, she did not react to flu shot. When probed if patient still experiencing the problem: Reporter stated, yes, she just came back and show the hand. I mean, I can see little swelling in the wrist. She came back yesterday she showed me.
