Caller also reported patient had some redness and swelling near injection site; Caller also reported patient had some redness and swelling near injection site; Caller stated an hour or so later, patients mother stated patient developed hives around or near her mouth that spread to trunk and to left thigh.; This spontaneous report was received from a nurse prescriber concerning a 4-month-old female patient. The patient's medical history was not reported. Historical drug included nystatin. The patient's concurrent conditions included milk protein allergy, Upper respiratory infection, oral thrush, and possible flu along. No concomitant medications. On 02-FEB-2025, the patient was vaccinated with Rotavirus Vaccine, Live, Oral, Pentavalent (ROTATEQ), (lot #Z015203, expiration date: 11-APR-2027) 2 mL administered by Oral route (dose not reported) as prophylaxis; along with ''diphteria, polio IPB and hib vaccine'' all from other manufacturer and with Pneumococcal vaccine conj 20v (PREVNAR 20) (strength, dose, indication, expiration date, and lot #, route, and anatomical location were not reported). On that same day (conflicting information reported as ''exact date of all events were unspecified''), the patient seemed fine after vaccinations and was sent home, however an hour or so later, patients mother patient developed hives around or near hear mouth that spread to trunk and to left thigh (urticaria generalized). Also, on unknown date, she experience some redness and swelling near injection site (vaccination site swelling and vaccine site erythema). Consequently, she received as treatment cool compress and given hydrocortisone cream and had much improved however not 100%. The causality between the events and the vaccines was not reported.
