POTS; hEDS; dysautonomia; the vaccine has led to an increased immune response, causing harm; viral infections; This spontaneous case was reported by a consumer and describes the occurrence of POSTURAL ORTHOSTATIC TACHYCARDIA SYNDROME (POTS) and EHLERS-DANLOS SYNDROME (hEDS) in a 30-year-old patient of an unknown gender who received mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) for COVID-19 prophylaxis. The occurrence of additional non-serious events is detailed below. No Medical History information was reported. On an unknown date, the patient received dose of mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (Intramuscular use) 1 dosage form. On an unknown date, the patient experienced POSTURAL ORTHOSTATIC TACHYCARDIA SYNDROME (POTS) (seriousness criterion medically significant), EHLERS-DANLOS SYNDROME (hEDS) (seriousness criterion medically significant), AUTONOMIC NERVOUS SYSTEM IMBALANCE (dysautonomia), IMMUNE SYSTEM DISORDER (the vaccine has led to an increased immune response, causing harm) and VIRAL INFECTION (viral infections). At the time of the report, POSTURAL ORTHOSTATIC TACHYCARDIA SYNDROME (POTS), EHLERS-DANLOS SYNDROME (hEDS), AUTONOMIC NERVOUS SYSTEM IMBALANCE (dysautonomia), IMMUNE SYSTEM DISORDER (the vaccine has led to an increased immune response, causing harm) and VIRAL INFECTION (viral infections) outcome was unknown. The action taken with mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (Intramuscular use) was unknown. No concomitant medication was reported. Patient developed sudden dysautonomia after viral infection. Patient immune system would not have sneezed at before. Patient had been out of work for months with POTS and hEDS. It ruined life. This was not an instant reaction, most of got the vaccine back in 2020-2021. But it ramped up immune response until their immune systems began to kill. Viruses had always changed DNA but they never had the widespread and violent life destroying effects. Patient did not want to get it. It was unknown if the patient experienced any additional symptoms/events. No treatment medication was reported.
