Reportedly, patient was at pharmacy to get a tetanus shot and after the tetanus shot her and her daughter were shopping. Patient started to feel dizzy and lightheaded and sat down. When they got to the car, patient's daughter reports that she suddenly went unresponsive and noticed some shaking in her arms and legs that lasted about 30 seconds. Daughter states that she seemed like she would wake up and start talking and then she would slump over again and have some jerking motions and then be unresponsive. This happened over the course of 10 minutes. Patient had some headache and neck pain following the episode. EMS treated patient with 5 mg of intranasal Versed. While ED, patient did have an episode where she closed her eyes and appeared to slump over in bed with brief jerks of her arms and legs witnessed by ER physician.
