Incident occurred on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, around 2:15 PM. Patient received Inactivated Polio Virus (IPOL) vaccine and shortly after experienced syncope, falling on top of his little sister, for less than 30 seconds. Both parties that fell did not have any apparent concussions and were fully aware afterward. Briefly after, both patients were sat upright ensuring their legs were elevated to return blood flow. Food and water was given. Mental status examination was performed to both patients to evaluate the patient's level of consciousness. Both patient's were alert and knew name, date of birth, and the current date. Staff monitored the patient for 20 minutes before letting them leave.
